Consultation has concluded
The purpose of Council's Social Media Policy is to provide clear guidance on the appropriate use of social media platforms by Elected Members, Council employees, contractors and volunteers.
The Policy is reviewed every two years to reflect the ever-changing social media environment, and is now released for public consultation.
It has been developed to comply with a raft of legislative frameworks and aligns with other similar policies in the Local Government sector.
The Draft Social Media Policy is open for consultation from 9am on Monday 25 July 2022 to 5pm on Sunday 14 August 2022.
