Draft Rating Policy 2023/24

The Rating Policy has been reviewed for the 2023/24 financial year and is now available for public comment.

This Draft Policy includes minor changes and has been reviewed in conjunction with the recent internal rates audit.

The Policy has been considered by Council's Audit Committee, which is recommending it for adoption.

The Rating Policy must undergo an annual review. Council is now seeking community feedback on the Draft Rating Policy.

At the May Ordinary Meeting of Council, Elected Members endorsed the Draft Policy for consultation. The full Council report can be viewed on the Council website here.

Hard copies of the Draft Policy are available from the Civic and Community Centre – 66 Walkerville Terrace, Gilberton.

The Draft Rating Policy is open for consultation from 9am on Tuesday 16 May 2023 to 5pm on Monday 5 June 2023.
