Consultation has concluded

The Public Consultation Policy (formerly the Community Engagement & Consultation Policy) has been reviewed to guarantee a balance is achieved between the need to understand community views, reach timely decisions, meet legislative requirements, provide information, and maintain commercial confidentiality.

The primary change includes the removal of the requirement for personal details (name and street address) to be provided in order for a submission to be considered.

The amended Draft Public Consultation Policy is now open for community feedback.

The amendments ensure that community members are better able to provide feedback to Council through its consultation processes.

At the May Ordinary Meeting of Council, Elected Members endorsed the Draft Policy for consultation. The full Council report can be viewed on the Council website here.
