Consultation has concluded
The Plaques Policy has been reviewed to ensure a consistent approach to the selection and installation of plaques affixed to Council-owned furniture or similar infrastructure in public open spaces and community land within the Town of Walkerville.
These changes are reflected in the Draft Plaques Policy, which is now open for public consultation.
The changes are a result of a scheduled review of the Plaques Policy to ensure there is a consistent approach to dealing with plaque-related matters.
At the May Ordinary Meeting of Council, Elected Members endorsed the Draft Policy for consultation. The full Council report can be viewed on the Council website here.

The Draft Plaques Policy is open for consultation from 9am on Tuesday 16 May 2023 to 5pm on Monday 5 June 2023.
