Council is inviting community feedback on a revised draft Parking Permit Policy aimed at improving clarity around parking and permits in the Township.

The former Parking Policy needed to be reviewed to include some minor changes regarding parking permits, as well as add stipulations around high-density population areas and parking.

At its March 2026 Ordinary Meeting, Council endorsed the draft Policy for consultation. You can view the full Council report on the Your Say Walkerville website.

The draft Parking Permit Policy is open for consultation from 9am on Wednesday, 18 March 2026 to 5pm on Thursday, 9 April 2026.


If you wish to provide feedback on the draft Parking Permit Policy, you can submit it as follows -

  • Send an email to walkerville@walkerville.sa.gov.au with the subject line “Draft Parking Permit Program Policy 2026”; or
  • Post a response to Council to:
