Council is inviting community feedback on a new draft Parking Permit Policy, aimed at streamlining the permit process for residents and improving administrative efficiency.

The current Parking Policy was due for review, and the updated version proposes a range of improvements on how parking permits are managed by Council.

This draft Policy sets out changes including automatic renewals for eligible parking permit households and clearer oversight to support better compliance.

At its April Ordinary Meeting, Council endorsed the draft Policy for consultation. You can view the full Council report on the Town of Walkerville website.

The draft Parking Permit Policy is open for consultation from 9am on Wednesday, 23 April 2025 to 5pm on Wednesday, 14 May 2025.


If you wish to provide feedback on the draft Parking Permit Policy, you can submit it as follows -

  • Send an email to walkerville@walkerville.sa.gov.au with the subject line “Draft Parking Permit Program Policy”; and
  • Post a response to Council to:
