Draft Heritage Management Policy

Council has revised its ‘Heritage Management Policy’ and is opening up these changes to public consultation.

The changes are a result of a scheduled review of the Heritage Management Policy to ensure there is a consistent approach to dealing with heritage management matters.

Certain sections of the Policy have been amended or removed due to outdated Acts, Regulations or terminology that is referenced in the current Policy.

At the February Ordinary Meeting of Council, Elected Members endorsed the Draft Policy for consultation. You can view the full Council report and the revised Heritage Management Policy on the Town of Walkerville website.

The Draft Heritage Management Policy is open for consultation from 9am on Monday 6 March 2023 to 5pm on Friday 31 March 2023.
