Annual Business Plan 2025/26

The Town of Walkerville's draft 2025/26 Annual Business Plan has been developed to deliver services, facilities and programs that support our community and businesses over the next financial year.

As part of the planning process, the Town of Walkerville community is invited to provide feedback on the draft plan for 2025/26.

The draft 2025/26 Annual Business Plan will be funded by a proposed average rate increase of 3.2% (excluding growth), which is 1% above the CPI rate for the March quarter (Adelaide all groups) and at the lower end of the projected rate rises in councils across South Australia.

This Annual Business Plan incorporates:

  • Council’s ongoing progress with major projects in the Township, including Walkerville Bowling & Community Club, 39 Smith Street recreational centre and Walkerville Oval open space;
  • future masterplanning and development for Walkerville Terrace, Walkerville Sports Club and Levi Oval;
  • the expansion of our road and footpath renewal program;
  • community safety and CCTV;
  • park furniture and bin upgrades;
  • a range of new events and activity opportunities with the Township; and
  • the continuation of regular Council services and amenities.
