Town of Walkerville is writing a new plan to improve disability access and inclusion in the Township and wants the community’s ideas on how Council could make its places, spaces, activities and programs more inclusive of people of all abilities.

This plan will highlight Council’s commitment to ensuring that our community of all ages and abilities has the opportunity to live active, connected and fulfilling lives.

Council is currently in the first stage of its DAIP development, investigating the community's ideas on access and inclusion, which can be incorporated into draft plan. This will be followed by a public consultation on the DAIP once it is in its draft phase.
