Consultation has concluded
The below is an example of a Council consultation recently completed prior to the launch of this website (Your Say Walkerville). All engagement will be undertaken on Your Say Walkerville moving forward.
The Town of Walkerville reviewed and made proposed updates to its Community Fund Program Policy.
The key changes were:
- Local competitions are now eligible for funding;
- Funding amounts will be determined by Council based on the level of program (ie. a local competition may receive less funding compared to a national competition, which requires additional costs, such as flights);
- The purchase of memorial plaques will be funded through the Community Fund Program;
- The Community Fund Program will no longer support heritage plaques, as these are now funded by Council.
