Draft Budget Management Policy

The below is an example of a Council consultation recently completed prior to the launch of this website (Your Say Walkerville). All engagement will be undertaken on Your Say Walkerville moving forward.

The Town of Walkerville undertook its biannual review of the Budget Management Policy prior to the budget process for the 2022/23 financial year.

The minor amendments were:

• Clarity around budget principles in line with the Financial Guiding Principles
• Clarity around budget owner responsibilities
• Additional end of year guidelines, including accrual policy
