Annual Business Plan 2024/25

The Town of Walkerville's draft 2024/25 Annual Community Plan has been developed to deliver services, facilities and programs that support our community and businesses over the next financial year.

As part of the planning process, the Town of Walkerville community is invited to provide feedback on the draft plan for 2024/25.

The draft 2024/25 Annual Community Plan will be funded by a proposed average residential rate increase of 4.3% (excluding growth), which is in line with CPI for the March 2024 quarter (Adelaide all groups) and at the lower end of the projected rate rises in councils across South Australia.

This Annual Community Plan incorporates:

  • Council’s ongoing progress with major projects in the Township, including Walkerville Bowling & Community Club, 39 Smith Street recreational centre and Walkerville Oval Open Space;
  • the expansion of our road and footpath renewal program;
  • an exciting facelift development for Walkerville Terrace;
  • a strengthened Community Fund Program for individuals, groups and businesses;
  • a range of new events and activity opportunities with the Township; and
  • the continuation of regular Council services and amenities.

At an Ordinary Council Meeting on Monday, 20 May 2024, Council Members endorsed the draft Annual Community Plan for consultation. The full Council report can be viewed on the Council website.
